Our Programs
Primary
Our Primary program offers friendship, fun and a sense of community for children 2.5 to 6 years old.
We emphasize strong social skills throughout the year. This is the foundation of our successful, calm and peaceful classroom. The didactic materials are designed to invite exploration, activity and the mastery of skills and knowledge. We foster a love of life and learning, along with a deep curiosity about the world we share.
We have two Primary aged classrooms (2.5 years old through Kindergarten) with an enrollment of 17-20 students. Each classroom is staffed with a Lead Montessori teacher and a teacher’s assistant.

Elementary
Elementary
In keeping with the Montessori philosophy, our vision in Elementary is to create an environment of encouragement through activities and lessons that follow the child.
Our Elementary program classroom is a creative zone. Children are encouraged to explore their interests and develop large scale projects that show their passion and learning through a variety of presentations. Low student to teacher ratios makes it easy to individually check in with each student and ensure everyone is heard and valued. Small instructional groups give students access to the academic skills they need for future success. Our Upper Elementary students are learning how to be independent problem solvers and mindful World Citizens.
We have a Lower Elementary classroom (Kindergarten through 2nd/3rd grade) with an enrollment of 25 students, and an Upper Elementary classroom (3rd/4th through 6th grade) with an enrollment of 15 students. The classrooms are staffed with a lead Montessori teacher and a teacher's assistant.

Our School Year
Our calendar closely follows 4J’s school calendar. We offer a full school day each day of the week. There is no weekly “early release” day.
Childcare
We offer childcare before school and after school, as well as most teacher workdays and breaks. This service is available to the children enrolled in our program and their siblings. We focus on project learning (like a daily art activity) and free play, and make sure the children have quality time outdoors—when the weather and air quality permits—everyday.
Our all-purpose room and location for childcare.
My son comes home happy and requests to go to school, which is new for him compared to his last school.
